With its high-capacity 452cc ST 500 Powered by STIGA engine and the mid-sized 98 cm cutter-deck, the STIGA Estate 598 is certain to impress in terms of power and performance.
The mid-sized 98cm cutter-deck on the Estate 598 incorporates two blades that work together to deliver a pristine finish with no blade of grass missed. Clippings can either be picked-up and deposited into the roomy 240-litre collector; discharged directly onto the turf via a rear exit-chute; or mulched and spread across the lawn where they’ll rot away and act as a free organic fertilizer.
The Estate 598 is highly maneuverable, with its infinitely variable pedal-operated hydrostatic drive enabling the safe – and accurate – negotiation of trees, bushes and other garden obstacles.
Anti-scalp gauge-wheels prevent the corners of the deck causing unsightly turf-marking when turning on uneven ground; while a hosepipe fixture-point makes the job of removing potentially corrosive debris from the underside of the deck quick and easy.
Already versatile thanks to its three cutting-modes, the Estate 598 also features a seven-step cutting-height, which can be adjusted from 25 mm up to 80 mm to suit the prevailing conditions.
